I took my 1969 Dodge Daytona clone in for an allignment this week and it was worse when I left than when I went in. It was a 1969 Dodge Charger that I cloned to a Daytona. Does anyone have the allignment specs that I can give them when I take the Daytona back next week to be alligned again?

Thanks,
Al in Maine

It depends on what you want the car to do.  If you have stock bias ply tires than O.E. specs are fine but if you have radials and plan to drive and enjoy the car than I set them up with these specs.

Left caster      Minimum       Preferred       Maximum.
                        +2.0 Deg.       +2.5 Deg.        +3.0 Deg.

Right caster    Minimum        Preferred        Maximum
                       +2.0 Deg.       +2.5 Deg.        +3.0 Deg.

Left camber      Minimum      Preferred      Maximum
                          -0.0Deg.      -0.3 Deg.      –0.7 Deg.

Right camber    Minimum       Preferred       Maximum
                          -0.0Deg.       –0.3Deg.       –0.7Deg

Total Toe          Minimum.      Preferred        Maximum
                            +1/16             +1/8             +3/32
You want to shoot for the highest possible positive caster reading on the right side that you can get and still be able to get your camber to –0.5 deg. You want ½ deg less positive caster on the left and have your left side camber match the right side camber to compensate for road crown. Total toe in should be 1/8 inch.  Here is an example of what I shoot for when I align these cars.

Left caster +2.5     Right caster +3.0
Left camber –0.5    Right camber _0.5
Left toe    +1/16       Right toe +1/16
                 Total toe in
                     1/8 inch

Factory specs for these cars with Bias Plys are as fallows.

Caster  ¾  +or- ½ deg.
Camber Left +1/2 right ¼ deg + or – ¼ deg
Total toe ¼ inch
I may be schizophrenic but at least I have us!
