I know that one of the causes can be a bad catalytic converter....        :scratchchin:
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

bad plugs, bad wires, bad coils...need to get it checked out first... most newer Mopars say change plugs & wires at 30,000 miles.....we have had to replace the wires & plugs regularly on our '03 PT....bet you got a bad wire or 2 flashing down the side of the plugs...we have had that happen twice now....don't let it go too long...if check eng light starts flashing...you are destroying your cat converter
