I have a movie loaded on my computer that I wanted to just burn the audio portion onto a cd, is there a way to do this?

Sure. A lot of video editing programs will separate out the audio track.

Or you could use something like Total Recorder that can record pretty much anything that plays on a computer.

It basically creates a splitter of sorts that allows sound to go to your speakers as well as be recorded in to an audio file.
There's more to it than that though because it can actually record directly from the software that generates the audio.

It's so handy, I bought the pro version.

My caveman approach would be to just pump it into some recording device from the audio output of the computer! Hit play and let it run.  :shruggy:
