I have a 383 with mild cam (don't know what it is) Headers, Edelbrock 383 performer intake.  Engine vac in gear is approx 8.5.  I have a 6.5 power valve in it now and the lighter yellow spring for the vac secondary.  The jets in it now that came on the car when I bought it are both 65's.

The car from 3000 rpm up screams but I can't mash it from idle or slower speed or it about dies, I have to feather in the throttle till higher rpms.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Did you get the tuning DVD with the carb? I just bought one like yours over the weekend and it came with a pretty decent DVD telling all about the carb in question.

Thanks for the reply, no DVD, this was already on a car that I purchased which was way out of tune, running much better now but need to do finishing touches.
