license plates

i have been wondering if i'm being silly for wanting 1966 plates on my car, that being said, i still may not go with the winner of the poll

this poll is just for use at car shows.............. eventually.  i have microfiche copy of the original registration with original plate # on it.  i will have to keep current Nevada registration plates on it for driving

IF you're going to anything different than stick with modern plates, I'd say go for the custom plate to match the original registration.

If it's just for car shows put the one that matches the orignal on.  Barring that, go with the 66 plate.

I'm a fan of period-correct plates. Older cars just don't look right with those modern, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder mural plates every state seems to have now. It's pretty crappy of Nevada to limit vehicles to 1942 and older to qualify for replica plates. Time to write to your representative and tell him it's BS.
