He was in Milwaukee last year for the Harley re-union. But I didn't know it til it was to late to go to meet him. I thought he was pretty cool, and he is one of the favorites on the tv show too. I also have him and his boys as friends on my MySpace. Very sad to me. :'(

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Corey Haim, a 1980s teen heartthrob for his roles in "Lucas" and "The Lost Boys" whose career was blighted by drug abuse, has died of an apparent drug overdose. He was 38.

Haim died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday (March 10) at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Los Angeles, County coroner's Lt. Cheryl MacWillie said.

It was only a matter of time for that kid.  :rotz:  Damn shame.

Did you see the recent footage of him at a premiere in Vegas in January? He definatly put on alot of weight.  :o Some are saying that the weight thing is a side effect from stopping dope!  :scratchchin: They are also saying he was sick, and it was "perscription" medication overdose.....very sad!  :rotz: He just had a movie come out, and apparently was woking on 7 others! R.I.P. Corey!

Sorry, but I don't feel sorry for anyone that crawls into the bottle or drugs to get through a day.. What was so bad in his life????  Millions of hard working people out of work and starving. Losing their homes and unable to take care of matters and I just don't see myself losing a moment of my life to someone who cares less about themselves than others obviously do...

Just my .02 for what it's worth...

Well Steve, much  as I'm a fan of his, this is one time that I will agree with you 110% with what you said there man. I don't do drugs and won't touch them either and I hope others sees this as a sign as what drugs can do to a person.

I heard the news this morning.  As a child of the late 80's and early 90's I grew up watching this guy.  It is a shame, he was really good back in the day.

Dying at 38 of drugs . . . that must've been no picnic for Corey Haim himself or anyone around him.  My condolences for his family & friends.

But I won't pretend to really care.  I didn't know him and didn't watch his movies much.

General obituary not some movie star or tv guy;

Having a few drinks at the moment, and most of the afternoon . Went to my neighbours funeral today, retired english policeman been out here 13 years or so, couldnt meet a nicer guy , would happily lend you anything and give you the shirt off his back and top sense of humour to talk with about anything. Humble and the hardest working old retired guy that I ever met and dedicated to his family. Allaround good guy and it was a priviledge knowing him. Sadly missed by us and his family and friends and the rest of the street.
So guys, if you are aged around 40 or a bit older then go for a prostrate exam, a little bit of discomfort now could save your life and make more time for your family and friends. I've been for mine already a few months ago. Make an appointment and do it next week, it only takes 5 mins and then a psa blood test after that.
Everyone wants another birthday.

Vale,  Gordon David Long. I raise my glass to my old friend .

Peter Graves passed away last night...

I grew up watching "Mission Impossable", & saw "Airplane" in the theaters when it first came out like 7 times.

OMG!!!!! I did not hear about this till now!  :'( :'( :'( I am a native Santa Barbaran, and Fess Parker lived there as well. In fact I used to work for him. He used to own Fess Parkers Red Lion Resort on Cabrillo St. in S.B. I was a manager, and made a huge sale to a guest, so Fess came and thanked me personally. He was such a kind man, and VERY TALL too! He had to duck down to come in the gift shop!  :smilielol: He will be missed!!!!! God speed Fess!

P.S. Yes, we did sell "fake" coon skin hats!

"I Spy" actor, Robert Culp dies today after a fall at his home. He was 79.

I always liked his acting. I have a lot of movies with him in them. He is in the '70's movie "Hot Rod" with Pernell Roberts too. If you never seen the movie, find it and get it. Awsome drag racing movie with a '40 Willy's in it.

You will be missed Robert, Rest In Peace  :'(
