Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

bull

That's way more than what I got. I got zippo.

I got the same thing you got.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I got a chunk about half the size of a postage stamp.
But I laminated it anyway, and put it in my side window at car shows. :2thumbs:

:iagree: In the drivers seat back is where I found one of the three in my Charger.

P.S. Don't feel too discouraged FLG, the partial sheet is less than ideal but better than nothing. :yesnod:

How much of the build sheet do they need to be able to reproduce one?

To do it properly, you'd need the whole sheet.
To make a passible, yet probably incorrect BS, that would match a fender tag, the top line.
To make a fake incorrect one, none.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

FLG

hmm,

Im beginning to think this isnt my build sheet. What numbers should match my fender tag?

FLG

The last 6 of my VIN is 124157..as you can see that does not match the sequence number on the broadcast sheet...shouldnt it match?? If it should then whos piece of a sheet is this cause id like to return whats left of it to its rightful owner.

Buzzit1

under my back seat I found a metal band with numbers punched into it and wired with a hog ring, also a paper card with numbers typed on it and a hog ring, unfortunately NO build sheet

Somebody told me to also look behind the dash but i can't confirm this

FLG

Ah nevermind, i do belive it is my sheet. I found on the sheet theres it says "sequence number" then (on the part i dont have) it would repeat "sequence number" though this would be under the VIN part of the sheet so thats the part that should match my vin.

Alaskan_TA

The seqeunce number is for the sheet itself. The numbers in the next two boxes should match the SPD (scheduled production date) & VON (vehicle order number) on your fender tag.

If those numbers do not match, the sheet would be for a different car.

FLG

hmm, were is that located on my fender tag??

Now im not completely sure its my build sheet.

69bronzeT5

Sequence number is bottom far right line on the fender tag...6 numbers. Order number is right above it and production date is directly to the left of the order number.

FLG

Well the order number on my fender tag does not match the order number on this build sheet....looks like ill continue to search for my sheet and now i need to find out if the car this sheet belongs to even exists.

The bottom right hand corner numbers on my fender tag read

153179
124157
