I manage a Dealership body shop, restore cars in my spare time and most importantly, my wife is a Chemist for a large steel company. I'm almost 50 and everything is paid for. It also helps to live in Arkansas where the cost of living is definitely cheaper.

Having everything paid for must be awesome..lol..You have some awesome cars, Are you ever going to sell any of them?

Probably keep them for a while. I don't need the money right now and they just keep going up in value. I get sick every time I think of the ones that I've sold in the past. I sold an N96 shaker hood 340 cuda a few years ago for $6000. The hood's worth more than that now. I sold a 70 barracuda convertible for $3600 because I didn't think a plain barracuda would ever be worth anything.
The list goes on and on. Unfortunately, the cars that I have now aren't high end cars. Just toys really.
Here's a pic of a 69 R/T charger sitting in the woods near Mountainburg, Arkansas. He won't part with it. He offered it to me for $3500 and when I went to get it the following Saturday he had changed his mind. Check out those chevelle seats. He didn't know that they weren't correct.

Wow! Nice to see my '69 Charger isn't alone in having transplanted GM seats.

blackcharger

Damn! Gotta rescue that poor Charger!

The story behind that car was it belonged to this woman's husband who passed away. She didn't want to sell the car which was her greatest memory of him.

That's kinda funny. Looks like someone tried out some blue on the radiator support. That looks like a fairly clean Charger too. :icon_smile_sad:

You're right, there are some who will tell you you're hoarding cars...but from the way I look at it, if you have the means to be able to obtain that neat stuff, MORE POWER TO YA!
I would do the same thing in a heartbeat if I could, believe me.

BTW, there's a couple other guys here who have the same condition...Travis & Jude (screen names witheld). :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That's what I'm talking about on the wife memory thing.  If you aren't going to bury me in it, my wife can sell it and spend the money on a cabana boy for the pool or something.

Well, at least another fine Mopar appreciating kinda guy, right?  :yesnod:

I kinda think she's had her fill of Mopar appreciating boys.

Yeah, but I'd wager a bet that she hasn't had her fill of MONEY! :yesnod: :icon_smile_big:

Buy her a '70 Charger R/T with a HEMI and a 4-speed... see if it stops there! If not... umm... give the car to someone who cares!  :icon_smile_big:

Like myself!  It'd be wasted on her, she thinks the 2nd gen Chargers are the ugliest car that was ever designed.  She laughs everytime she sees one and  says it looks like something a little old lady should be driving.
She's part of a pretty small group in her opinion but it's moot anyway.  The cars are my hobby and I'm going to like what I like.

These were on the property I lived on in Tenino, about twenty five miles southeast of Olympia, WA.   They are Chrysler Imperials mostly.   Don't know what the black four door one with the wings and ornamental spare holder on trunk is, showing in pics 3 & 4.

Here are a couple Chargers that are sitting in Canada! All but one of the Daytona's have been bought and currently being restored! The one in the garage without doors has been sitting like that got something like 10 years. Only a handful of the Chargers though have been bought.

I'd love to get the '71 cars! I'd like this one too. Notice it looks like it still has the recall wheels on it :rotz:
