Pedal dropped extra 1" or 2"; now won't do it again

Did not go to the floor. 3yr old master cylider.  Manual drum brakes, no fluid loss, brakes seemed tight as I havn't driven the car in 6 months kinda like they were dragging, brakes have still worked excellent throughout this drive. Pedal felt lower twice after 45min of driving, checked things out and took it right back out. They feel normal.  Did I just boil the fluid or something since the brakes felt tight?

Could be the MC is bypassing internally, they sometimes do this intermittently until they finally completely fail.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Could be. I've been driving it all day since this happened and the brakes feel better/ more responsive so maybe it's from sitting too long. Oh well.

Piston in wheel cyl may have stuck out. Shoes were not returning correctly.
