Been removing the worn boot out of my 69 Charger since it is really bad.
After looking around I don't seem to find the right boot.
What's your thoughts?
Thanks

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

do you want one like you have shown or otherwise ?

there is a difference between console and no console lower boots

mikepmcs

From what I gather Christian has the console but torn between leaving it in or taking it out.. so.... I am trying to provide options for both threads.

I don't believe that anyone reproduces the lower shift boot for the console equipped cars, so most people, myself included, use the 1970 shift boot designed for the pistol grip shifters. The rectangular hole in the top fits on the lower part of the 69 shift handle. BTW, the boot in your pic is not the correct type either, it looks to me like the non-console type that someone hacked up to put on lower part of the shifter handle. I'll see if I can find a pic of an original lower boot for a console equipped car. I know I have seen one somewhere. In the mean time, maybe someone else will chime in.  Found it. Heres a link to another thread on the same subject. http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,42237.0.html
