I am looking to see what a '69 Charger would look like in Y4 light gold metallic with a black vinyl roof.......
Any pics one might have would be great!! I need a motivational pic to stick on the tool box.
  I have a project that I am buying off of a buddy and the car is in pieces.....its a 440 4spd R/T super track pack car

Y4 is definitely not a common color to see on a restored car.

Definetely an odd color as most '69s I've seen are red,black,T5 copper or orange  LOL 
  My buddy needs to sell it and he did most of the work restoring it and has now found himself needing to sell it.
It should be an interesting car with the Y4 paint, black vinyl roof,black stripe and C6W white interior.
It is just that we had a few other Chargers sitting in the garage waiting to be restored so the Wife thinks I am nuts and thinks I need professional help. It is an addiction, yes that I do agree........but a good addiction(and expensive).

 Those look pretty good even the one with the charger script in the wrong location.. 
I can't help but think it will be hard for your friend to see his restored R/T with you, kinda' like seeing a buddy with your old GF,.. but i guess if he's getting paid for it...

My buddy did most of the hard work, stripping it,cleaning, blasting then had the metal work professionally done,
He redid the seats with Legendary covers, spent 8hrs restoring the 4spd console, 40 hrs redoing the grill etc...
New carpet,headliner, decals etc. etc.....motor prof. rebuilt (date coded block) orig #'s trans and Dana 60.
  It is hard for him but it is his choice.......I have seen/been around the car for some time now and even helped him move it to where we put it in storage. He said he would love for me to have that way he can still come by and help and see it.
The offer the sell it back to him is there also as the money/time that he put into the car is crazy!!
And the offer to drive it once I am done finishing it.
The Charger needs final prep and paint......then the reassembly game begins.
