I am really fond of Red Kilby's Charger and I noticed that the window sticker is strange.  The Charger is equipped with a High Performance Axle Package!   I thought that you couldn't get the A31 package on an R/T. Well it truth the only one who knows the most about this is Red.  Where are you Red I want to know more about your Charger.

"Performance Axle Package" and "High Performance Package" were two different packages dude.

Reds car was a special order car for a Chrysler Executive back in the day. I bet he could get any option he wanted!

Red's car has the A36 Performance Axle Package....the A31 High Performance Axle Package with 3.91's not available with the 440 :nono:

Out of the 1900 cars I have registered I only have ONE that was coded with the A31 package and I actually have this cars fender tag in my possession

Sorry but you proved yourself wrong A31 and "High Performance Axle Package" are the same thing. Read again.  K :2thumbs:

In the second video watch the window sticker, it says 102.15 - the price of the A31 package, either someone needs to double check something or the Chrysler Executive got a discount.  :shruggy:

 :scratchchin:
That window sticker looks like a repo.Very easy for someone to print the wrong info on it.

The A36 package is cheaper at 92.25.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Red's car has the A36 package not the A31.  The window sticker is a repro & is incorrect (price wise)

How do you figure WingCharger proved himself wrong?  He stated that the "Performance Axle Package" and "High Performance Package" are 2 different packages....which they indeed are.

PS---Red definitely made the right choice by changing the top from tan to white

Ididn't know it was changed, looks good though

There is no "High Performance Axle Package."  A31 is the "High Performance Package."

426HemiCharger

Well I guess two things were proved wrong - that I was right and that the A31 is the High Performance Axle Package. I could have sworn it said what I said  :scratchchin: Oh, well.

Red Kilby

Hi everyone, sorry I have not been on this forum in a long time. I have either railroading or doing what I really love singing all over the country, and promoting my CD "Keepin it Real".  You can check it out and pictures of Ginger at www.redkilby.com

Thanks so much for the kind comments about "GINGER" and her New White Roof. I think it looks better too, and it is the NOS Material from 1969, I found it at SMS in Oregon.

I know that the question has allready been answered but I would like to clarify the correct answer, She has the A36 Performance Axle Package , and the price that is on my repro sticker is 102.15  as far as it being the wrong price I don't know??

For all you folks that would like to know what codes are on Her Window Sticker here you go.

CRT, A01, A36, A47, B41, B51, C21, C62, D34, E86, G11, G31, G33, H51, M25, M51, N85, N88, N97, P31, R22, R31, S77, V8W, W21, Y13, T83, 029

If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask, I will answer them if I can. You can email me if you like too.

By the way there are some prints of Ginger on line also if you would like to check them out, taken a few years back  www.dodge.artehouse.com then type in ginger for what you are searching for.

I don't know how to do it but could someone get the pictures off my website with her white roof and post them here.

Thanks 426HEMICHARGER, and I can't wait to see pictures of your Charger when it is done, please send them to me.

Well you all take care, and thanks Red Kilby

426HemiCharger

Thanks Red. I'm glad you think highly of me. It is rare to talk to such a famous person, especially if they have some thing in common with you. :2thumbs:

If you want to see pics and the restoration of my Charger then check out:  http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3160504

P.S. She'll look almost like Ginger when she's done  ;)
