My dad bought a 97 3.9L dakota last weekend without letting me look at it first, he said it ran a little rough but he thought i'd be able to adjust it. after spending the better part of a day checking fuel pressure, spark and timing i finally tested compression on all six cylinders and too my dismay found two cylinders with only 50 psi of compression. leak down test leads me to believe two stuck exhaust valves, due to air coming out the tailpipe when there at tdc. anyone else have any ideas before i tear the heads off?
