Glad I got to see it when I did.

At least you got to have some fun before putting it away.

Bummer about putting it away for winter.  :'(   Looks sweet though  :2thumbs:

Clayton, sorry I'm a newbe with Youtube.

Here it is -

Funny thing after I ripped from the stop sign, a car that was about 4 back heard/saw me so after I caught up in traffic I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a white car pass a few cars.  I immediately thought, crap I'm getting a ticket.  It wound up being a Cadillac with the Vette engine.  In the video I thought I say "oh fu..." prior to turning it off.  I didn't though... That would have been funny!

Right on Mike! We got over an inch over night living along Lake Huron but BIGSUGAR Ron was down at our place last Thursday/Friday and he helped me with some issues on the Charger. On Saturday I took the Charger to get my last tank of 94 Octane and put some stabilizer in the tank as well. It got dark before  could wash it but it is supposed to get into the 50's this weekend so I will wash it then. Here's a few pics of your cars inverse twin  Also added some rubber to my testing area as well  :D

Man this is one good looking car!!!! :2thumbs:
On your strips did you use the decals and clear over them or is it all paint?

Awesome video.  I was smirking when you went around that curve & the camera leaned over with you, smirking until I realized I was leaning too.
When you got to the stop sign I was thinking, turn right, turn right, go after 'em.  Very responsible of you to keep going, lol.

RIDELIKEHELL, omg I never tire looking at your rig.  Everything just flows together so well.  What an absolute beauty!!!

Yours too Mike.   :2thumbs:  I'm a little more partial to the one you sold but this '68 is sweet.  You still have the Coronet 'vert right?

Yes I do.   My next "quicker" project is to get the engine compartment detailed and get some small issues resolved.  I never really enjoyed the car because it's the biggest dog 440 I ever drove.

I have to say I do miss the 70 ALOT.  Too many cars, too many headaches.... You know the drill!

You get the 70 out much this year?

Three times.  It's getting less & less every year.  Our daughter's soccer eats into so much time.

It was a great year.  Our daughter had been on the premier A team for a couple years but didn't make it this year which was a godsend.  Not only a starter again but she takes the penalty & corner kicks.  If it's a tie & they go to penalty kicks she's the 1st one to take a shot.

Best part was only a month into the season her old coach asked for her back.  She said no,  :icon_smile_big: .  I stayed out of it, left it up to her.

Now this team took 2nd in league so they get bumped up into her former team's division so there's 2 premier A teams for that age group.  That's a pretty big deal.  No other club in PDX can say that.

Of course you know why her team is advancing right?  Because of >>>her<<<.   She tore her hamstring so she's been done for a month.  But I'm not a proud Daddy or anything!  If someone's sitting by me when she scores I proclaim, "that's my kid!!"  I don't care if I know them or not.
Nothing better than watching your kid excel at something.  She didn't learn it from me.   :smilielol:

Sorry Mike.  I can never just post a couple sentences to answer a question.   :slap:

Adjusting the headlights? Isn't that fun? I had to go out and buy a 16" screwdriver to do mine because of the clearance (or lack thereof) inside the grill. Got all fancy with an aimer first and that was a joke so I ended up eyeballing them against a warehouse wall.

Took the car to Car Craft Nationals in St. Paul this weekend with some friends.  Had a great time.  For the first time ran it on a track - was a blast.  Thanks to my buddy Tory for pushing me.   Ran three times and each time I shaved off time.  There were two old Mopars running in the 6 hours of watching the racing - a Duster, and my boat.

Put 800 miles on it, and ran great.   Car was a magnet in the area we were parked.   Got home at 5:00, cleaned her up, and went out for another drive :2thumbs:.  Out of all the cars I've owned, this car has put on the most miles, and smiles, on my face!

Not bad!  The worst part was the steering.  Too many revolutions to make a turn.  Already checked this out -http://www.hotchkis.net/dodge-quick-ratio-idler-and-pitman-arm-kit.html   :2thumbs:

Just received the GoPro video from my buddy.  Not much body role, but the track was pretty small also.  Here's a picture of the track, and the video.

Hit picture for the video.
