I am not sure If I have metioned this on here before but I have renal Kidney disease and finally got put on a waiting list. They say the wait is about 8 years without a doner. so I am tring any long shots I can think of. I have not been on here in awhile as you may have noticed. I never felt good enough to be out working on any of my cars. well I started dialysis last week and it makes me feel better now but takes most of my time still I work and then have to be on machine 9 hours a night. but maybe I can get something done now as I feel better. I will be at carslile just not sure in what yet.  probally the Challenger Wagon  or maybe just the 4x4 Charger. Anyway I know this is a long shot but who knows. If you have any Questions contact me. i don't know how I could repay you? but you would be more than welcome to drive any of my cars like you stole them If you wanted. [thats what they were made for] anyway keep me in mind and don't forget become a organ doner. Here is the contact info if interested. My Name is Marty Bollinger my id # is 1868053-3 my Coordinator is Ann Litts . Email is alitts@unch.unc.edu or phone # is 1-888-263-5293 if you have Diabetes or high Blood pressure you may be ruled out. Thanks All and see you in carslile.

Glad the treatment is making you feel better and I hope you don't have to wait too long.
I'm curious as to why the wait is 8 years?  It would seem that organ donors would outweigh people in need.  I'm ignorant obviously but it just seems like a very long time.  My mother is thinking of giving her older brother one, she is 68.

I think they should make people in jail give up stuff to help others(i'm talking hardened lifers here).  Now, that would be some real payback to society.
Good luck Sir.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I guess the wait is because NC is one of the highest % of kidneys needed and only 3 hospitals that do them. and of course my insurance co say I can only go to one and its the one with the 8 yr wait and its 4 hours away also everytime I have to go there. the closest hospital that does the is in charolte and the wait is about 2yrs and only 45 mins away but insurance says no pay there. I agree the the jailed pepole cut them up. :smilielol:
