Back in the 70's my buddy had a 427 Nova with a blower and 2 carbs.  The car had a whisper quiet exhaust and I was raking the leaves in our front hard looking down when I heard this weird air sucking sound, and there is my buddy with the nova and blower.  It was funny hearing all the air sucking coming from a car.  I remember asking him what he got for MPG and he said 10 gallons to the mile.  :hah:
I know a guy who back when he was in high school he put a blown 350 chevy in a rwd chevette. one time he launched and the one tire never touched the ground again.
