I have to be honest and say that a top ten doesn't interest me much.  Maybe if all ten of my choices were on it but other than that, not so much.

General_01

I am not into the top ten deal either. I like it when we can get alot of the members rides on the poster.

o.k... now that I have some money to spend, is it possible to get a old one AND a new one?

If this is in response to my voting suggestion, that was only in regards to a calendar.  I think that would make for a great calendar.  Or maybe instead of choosing 12 cars we choose 12 individuals considering some people have more than one car.  They could submit a photo with all of them together or something.  Again, all that was in regards to a calendar.

If we're doing a poster, I'd love to see as many as we can get w/o getting the pics too small.  In that case, there's a fine line between quality and quantity but what I've seen in this thread looks pretty cool.   :icon_smile_big:

I think there would be hard feelings if people submitted and didn't get picked. I'm all for the collage.

Just in case you can't see it in the pics, Runner put the screen name of each member in their car's pic, so you would know who owns each car. Very cool! :2thumbs:

Seriously, not to be rude but, if people are that sensitive they should really seek some help.  It should be seen as an honor to be voted in by your peers on this site but no reason to feel disrespected by not getting it.  They are ALL CHARGERS!  This isn't 5th grade anymore and noone's excluding anyone from playing.

Again, I'm not being a jerk but I really don't see people being that sensitive and, if they are, they have problems.  A calendar would really be cool, and I think very marketable too.

I hear ya, I feel the same way, Many car shows you always here people screamign they'll never come back because they didn't get a $3 trophy. I'm just going by what I've seen. I've been to many shows, only got one award, but I still have a great time. I'm just thinking about how others may react.

I think the point you are missing is that not everyone can make a vote worthy car for a calendar. Yes, it would be a great honor, but I know my car would never be that good. A collage poster is a good way to be all inclusive to all the members.

I hear 'ya Jason regarding the car show thing. We entered my dad's friend's '71 Camaro RS Z/28 in a Camaro show back in 2000. We got 1st place and on the way out of the show, we heard some guy say in a really snotty attitude "there's that idiot who won 1st". My dad did a big ass burnout and left

But....there's 4000 members!

better get a bigger plotter

I guess we will have to wait and see how many people submit a picture to Runner. Not everyone will want a poster. Usually only the people who will buy a poster submit a pic. I also think that those who order in advance should have first dibs on having their car in the poster. :Twocents:

There's usually a deadline to submit pictures. Also, keep in mind...not all 4000 members sign on. Most of the new members don't post.

Yeah, I've seen the same thing.  Those guys need to get off their mama's teet for a while.   :nana:

The point of the calendar isn't to include everyone, it's to show off some of the greatest works of art that belong to this great site.  I wouldn't care if my car never made it, it's not about me but the cars.

A poster serves a totally different, all encompassing purpose... yet as MagnumCharger pointed out, it still can't be "all encompassing".  So, should we not do that either because someone's going to get excluded?  NO!

All I said is that both would be cool.  I would buy either or both... even if my car wasn't in either!  Anyone who gets upset over something that silly deserves my size 13 boot in their man-gina!   ;)   :smilielol:

Yes, I agree both could be done. I am just saying that if one thing is done, it should be the collage.

And like I said, we would have to wait and see who submits for the poster before we start assuming people will get left out.

For a calendar, I could pretty much say with certainty that these cars would be in it or at least in the running:

NOT Just 6T9 CHGR-'69 Charger
71 Bee Man- '71 Charger Superbee
hemigeno- '69 Charger 500
Brock Sampson- '69 Charger RT/SE
KWS- '72 Charger
NYCMille- '68 Charger R/T (Mr. Angry)
