So, today i though, i'll assemble some parts to my shiny engine. Simple i thought. How wrong could i be!!!

So, i have some A/C related questions. Prior to getting this far, i bought a complete 69 A/C setup from a guy over on moparts. Sadly, i didn't get it all, but more importantly it was all 68 stuff!! So now im really struggling.

I have some pics below. Anyone that knows, please chime in.

Photo 1 shows the alternator. I know the bolts are wrong, but is this correctly assembled? I dont have the bracket with the idler pulley.

Photo 2 the bracket at the bottom. Is this the correct setup for a 69?

Photo3 shows the rear of the compressor. The bracket does not line up with the hole in the cylinder head. Im assuming i need the one in photo 4? Ive not found a single picture online from the back

And which clutch/pulley setup should i have?

Photo 6 shows what i assume is a 70 compressor?

Photo 7 shows a 68 pump, but is this not the style of AC Clutch/pulley i need?

Photo 8, not really sure what its from, but pulley is not 69?

And lastly, is the water pump pulley different with AC? My pulley fouls the crank pulley now?

Hi Roger,I have an extra a/c water pump pulley(did'nt think I had it,bought at Carlisle,got home and of course,had it)now I have two.Also I have all the orig a/c stuff off my black car,correct 69 stuff,can get you pics if needed.

I thought is was about time for an update. There has only been little bits of progress, but its some progress!

I have had to do a few things that are not quite right in order to get things moving, but nothing too wrong.

Assembled/dressed most of the engine and gearbox. Never managed to get quite the right fuel pump though.

Did 69s get the chrome shifter knob? I thought that was a 68 only with 69s getting the simulated wood grain one.
