I was trying to log onto the HLPAG website just for kicks, see what horror they were trying to sell. Seems as though their site is no more? Is it possible they finally screwed the wrong person? Let's hope so!

That is awesome!!!

It's funny, but over a year ago when I was first looking for a Charger, I ended up on HLPAG's site. Knowing no better, I figured "what the Hell" and I clicked the JJBest loan app page and tried to get financed for an HLPAG car. They came back and told me "financing was not available for the cars found on that site"  :brickwall: . I was mad at the time but later realized what a favor they did me...

73TXRallye440

they say they take credit cars-- what is that?

MoparManJim

I like the small part "we tale credit cars!!!"  :smilielol:

I think they meant "we take credit cards!!!"? :shruggy: :smilielol:

But the question here is whats a Credit car?  :shruggy:

I wonder if we could get a credit card or financing papers with a disclaimer to the seller like theirs to the buyer's ?   :smilielol:   You know, like the payment may not be as advertised or any verbal or written funding or credit rating may not be correct.   :smilielol:  I think that would be acceptable when buying one of those cars.   :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:   I should call and ask them.   :2thumbs:

All that stuff in there about numbers not matching is funny when you consider the source.

Sure, they can't be responsible if they buy a car that's a mish-mash of parts and numbers don't match.... and it's fine as long as the car is never represented as something it is not....

but, on the other hand, that disclaimer is basically giving them permission to re-body whatever they want.
It still doesn't make it legal, though, does it?

I'm not saying that's what they do or have done because I don't know. I've had no first hand experience with them other than REALLY liking the cars on their website way back when I was still shopping for a Charger.

I'm just reading that disclaimer and that's what I'm thinking.

WingCharger

The fact that they butchered that poor defenseless '71 'Cuda makes me so freakin mad. :flame: :flame:

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

Chuck, I loved that disclaimer also!.....here's the best part:

"This vehicle is sold AS-IS NO WARRANTY as to mechanical condition and Body condition of Vehicle, also subjected to elements of the environment. Rust and inner hidden rust no guarantee,  no Warranty!!!"

Forza

Wow, they can paint a turd but in the end it's still a turd. They can change their name to whatever they want but it wont take long before the new name is just as hated as the last. Sad thing is if someone is just starting out in the hobby they would fall hook, line, and sinker for one of their cars. I hope Karma catches up to these asshats. :flame:

Hidden rust? Who doesn't luv that?  :hah:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Half that car's body weight will be in bondo, probably best to just keep-a-lookin'. ;)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

r_biccum

From the site

"Freshly redone, lots of new parts, exhaust, int., paint, are you ready to turn some heads?"

Heres my interpretation

"Freshly Bondo'ed, Lots of new Bondo, Found an exhuast in the back 40, interior seems to be there, some of it doesnt have spray paint on it, painted the underside with rhino lining so you cant see the rust untill you are too far away to turn around, are you ready for some headaches?"
