So, I pull into Bend, Oregon looking for my hotel on my way back to Minnesota after working in Corvallis for about 4 months.  As I'm approaching a stop light I see tail lights that I haven't seen on the road in ages.  As I get closer, I see a huge spoiler on the back. :o   My blood starts pumping like mad, I've never seen a Daytona actually on the road.  :drool5: I whip my phone out and take a picture.  I'm awestruck.  This car is magnificent!  I drive past it, trying not to look like a fool, and also not run into anyone!  I see my hotel and reluctantly pull in thinking how I'd enjoy seeing that Daytona for a while longer.  As I'm pulling in I see the Daytona pull in behind me.  WHOO-HOO!   :2thumbs:  I let him park and drive past as the driver and his female counterpart are getting out.  I introduce myself and compliment him on his great ride, then tell him about my project.  It was then he told me about DodgeCharger.com and, well... here I am!   Thanks Daytona Guy... and VERY NICE RIDE!!! :notworthy:

Very nice. We sort of know the guy. In fact, earlier today I had my hands on the Daytona wing that he built for me. So his name was mentioned in my shop once or twice.  ;D

Wow, I assume it's welded?  We're on a military project right now and hoggin some parts out of some HUGE blocks of billet but that would be one hell of a chunk of aluminum! :eek:

Wish I'd known about this site and all the guys in that area before I had to leave.  Would have enjoyed seeing your cars and talkin' shop. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

i remember how excited i was when he made those wings . i sold my solid wing and bought one of those from Dane rite away . best wing on the market .
