None yet...   But have you checked out the package tray in your car yet?  There is only one actual speaker hole in the back.  The one on the passenger side is smaller and is used for the rear defroster option (if your car has it).

unfortunately my car is a state away and has no package tray...was chopped and reaplaced with a set of somethings (don't remember what size)...any pics anyone? would i have to fab something to put them in right?

I think 6x9 is the standard size. That's what I had on my 1972, and my 1967.

What quality of sound are you spending for?  I agree, 6x9's would probably be the prudent choice, but many options cash wise and circumspection is the key here.
Size doesn't indicate quality.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

yes indeed...i have 2 sets of 4" infinity kappa perfects so i'm gonna trade one set for a 6x9 pair of similar quality on craigslist or something...so i'll have 2 4" in the front and 2 6x9s in the back...no sub so i want quality bass from the 6x9s....

I'm a big infinity fan as well.

Polk has some real nice sound, as well as, boston acoustic.

these bostons might be pushing it for a good kick in the low range but top quality none the less.

I guess for your specific requirements, it would be between the polk set above and these for me.

Original holes are for 5x8 on driver side and 6x9 on passenger side.

I think aftermarket 5x8 speaker screw holes setup doesn't match on rear package tray. Would need to open new attaching holes. That is at least my experience when I was on my search for aftermarket speakers with matching holes, untill I found a NOS one on $20.
