Will a manual valvebody work ok on a street car?

Would shifting all the time wear out the detent and rack?

Do they still need throttle pressure linkage?

RD

no need for throttle pressure linkage as it does not engage the upshift due to the "manual" nature of the VB.  Can't answer the "detent and rack" question as I believe it to be based upon the driver, miles driven, and the environment driven in.

Sure it will work fine on the street. Turbo Action has a nice selection....i went with the forward pattern with low band apply. No kickdown linkage required.

I have been using my full reverse manual VB for 10+ years on the street & no problems.....even though stamped all over the box..
