The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Yeah, it was on Hallowe'en, although I'm still thinking that there was another reason for his disappearance.
....the story on Garfield...

We had him for almost four years, 1997-2001.
The day that we broke ground (Halloween day) for the foundation on our new house, he disappeared.
I'm not laying blame on any particular person, since we live way out in the sticks and don't see trick-or-treaters out there, but Garfield being the friendly kitty that he was, would walk right up to strangers when they pulled in with their vehicles.
He was fearless.
I'm thinking he might have been "had" by a piece of heavy equipment....and buried quickly.
