chargerrt

I have a '70 but I'm in love with '69s.  I looooove the split grill and the taillights.

I didn't think they made any Chargers except in '69. :nana:   :poke: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon: :moon:

69 but a four gear 70 would be hard to turn down.

69*F5*SE

I like first, second, and third gens but I have a 69 so I'm going to go with it.  Although, I usually prefer the 68's.   :icon_smile_big:

rusty lee

I love em all  as long as their 2 door. I even like the front wheeled drive 2.2  I owned a shelby charger once.

BROCK

My heart says 70 R/T SE 4 speed.  My mind says the 69 is not original.
My mind says the 70 has rust issues.  My heart says the 69 is a HotRod!
I'd have to weigh the price vs
what each needs to be showable vs
my abilities vs
value of each car now & when showable vs
how much scratch I have etc etc etc.

Just use the facts.

If i had to pick Id probably go with the 70 but only because its a 4 speed and  RT! I do prefer the looks of the 69.
If there was a 71-72 in there id take over the 70 and 69  :D

hemi-hampton

No Brainer, Go with the 70, 70 is the best ;)

Harlow

I like all the 2nd gens. It would be tough to part with that chally though.... :drool5:

I like the 71 R/Ts, and the 72 Rallyes, personally, but I wouldn't turn any 66-74 Charger down if I found a nice deal.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

ray230

I like all Gen 2, the 68 grille and the 69-70 tail lights. Overall I would pick the 68, I've had mine for 32 years!

Mopar2Ya

Owning one I'm partial to the '70, but I like all 2nd gens. The 3rd gens are growing on me. I just luv Mopars!

1970 Charger R/T
2006 GC SRT8

RECHRGD

Absolutely correct!!!  The '68 was the first second generation car and basically saved the Charger.  The split grill on the '69 took away that clean/mean look that the '68 has. The round taillights are awesome.  The side marker lights actually work, unlike a '69 or '70.

Really?!?!  My bad!  I got married in 1970, so my car days ended until 30 years later.   Bob
