A couple years ago, I was on the couch on potato duty. It was night time & the lights were low...out of the corner of my eye, I saw something move. I paused the DVD (first things first, ya know) & watched the spot. Suddenly I spot a mouse on the move.
He ran across the carpet to the wall, then along the baseboard heading for the other room. He was going my direction, so I thought I'd try & intercept him. There is a cold air return halfway down the wall, about double the size of this...

...he reached that grille at the same time I did & started squeezing his way in between the fins! :o I grabbed him by the tail & the tug-o-war was on! He was all the way in & I still had his tail.
I yelled to my kid to come QUICK...and bring a screwdriver! He unscrewed the grille while I continued the death grip on that tail.

I let him go outside, afterward...his tail looked like it would be sore for a while. ;D
I would have never imagined in a hundred years that a mouse could squeeze through a spot that small, but I'm a believer now. I suspect one of my cats brought him in to "play" with, and he got away.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Teach them how to use tools, then tell them to work on your car for you
