I'm trying to seperate the washing blandes of my dishwasher so I can clean the out good, rather then depend on a magic potion to do it.  Anyone ever do this?  Any tricks to getting them apart?   This is the sort of delicate tedious project that I do not excell at!

We have really hard water here and I tried years ago as the little water holes on the blades had all but plugged up and I couldnt get thing sot come apart very easy. The corrosion made it very hard to do and I ended up doing more damage then good.   Jet Dry used to make a packet some stuff that looked like yellow sugar  that would clean a dishwaser right up. I have not been able to find this stuff in the stores for years. I have not found anything that cleans even close to hwo this stuff would clean. I've tried it all and it just doesnt work good.

Good Luck!

Not sure if this will do it, but I think I heard of people with hard water putting "Iron Out" in the dishwasher just like you would with the dishwasher soap and run it empty.
