Any idea how to get rid of rust stains off paint?

Nope. But it will dull it a bit, just need to polish or wax afterwards to get the shine back.

you also can but it in a variety of grades.....Get one that's less aggressive, and you will be just fine.

If that dosent work and depending on how long the rust stain has been on the paint. There are other ways useing a buffer and differnt types of rubbing compounds and differant types of pads. If your real energetic you can rub out the entire car and make it look like a mirror.

You could try some wax and grease remover on a rag. Depending how badly stained it is, it might work.

I had some rust spots from small metal flakes laying on my new WHITE paint...       clay bar worked great for removing them.

yeah 3m' s cleaner clay , good stuff

or any compound ... could try some frecla G10 by hand

Well, theres the roof and quarter panel seams....where the bondo is starting to flake, it exposed the bare metal (with the surface rust) and that's what caused the stains.
