E-body rear in to 73 body

Guys,

I have run across a truck Dana 60 that's been converted to fit a 71 E-body. I remember reading somewhere that if you can move the spring mounts to the B-body location and the rear will work. Can any one confirm this ?

yes.. my 72 charger has this done.  i did it by moving the spring perches out.  forget the measurements as I did it back in 2002 to the 8 3/4 housing.
