Any side shots of that mist green SE? My dad bought a new 73 and I bought it off him when it was 1 year old. Had a white top and green interior though.

Just my humble opinion...
I never liked the hood emblem - to me it looks aftermarket - Pep Boy's style.  The symbol looks good on the louvered sections behind the windows on the vinyl top... but wierd on the hood.

And yes, people do F**k around with it - it's spring loaded so they feel like it's a spinner/floppy toy for their amusement.
I removed it from my hood and filled the holes.  My car's not an SE anyway - someone drilled the hood and added the emblem at some point in the car's life... ???

Took em off cause I think they take away from the exhaust tips and it makes for a cleaner look...Thanks. :coolgleamA:

Nice car! Sounds like it was optioned same as mine. Mine had a 400 2 bbl, column auto.
