Can anyone just give me a rundown of the tools i need for the resto? I have an idea but id rather hear some responses from the more experienced.

Basically, its floors, quarters, trunk floor and extensions, rockers.

What tool works best for what job? Best way to cut things out?

Thanks

Frank

#1. Welder
2. air compressor and generic tools (impacts, chisels, etc.)
3. a good die grinder w/cut off wheels and a good DA sander

There are so many specialized tools that make the job easier but not a must have, but those listed above in my opinion are must haves.

ok,

I will be working at  my cousins shop doing everything so i have access to a good amount of equipment (but some has seen better days)...brand spaking new welder though  :2thumbs:

Just want to make sure i have everything needed...i want to get the job done right.

A torch is good to remove the big chunks....then go with a die grinder (cutoff wheels) to get the smaller or close in stuff  :2thumbs: an air drill and spot weld remover bits too.....yeah the list goes on.
