Pete, how the hell do you beat me to posting here every time! :scratchchin: :icon_smile_wink:

Damn, well that sucks. Oh well, Team Dart had a good run. It looks like the tranny was having some problems during the Challenge...considering it took two hands to put it into reverse. Like Goldberg said, they made the Mopar world pretty proud. I'm rooting for Team Corvette now :yesnod:

Sucks that the Dart teams got eliminated but that track was definitely not built for that car. Can't believe they got beat by a bus.

On a positive note, did anyone else notice the thong shot of the chick cleaning the corvette? At least I assume there was a thong in there, might now have been.  :scratchchin:

RECHRGD

I don't understand why all the dirt challenges are happening.  The Avalanch and maybe the Evo are the only cars that are made for that kind of track.  Seems a bit unfair.  Bob

I couldn't believe that they got beat by the bus either. As far as the thong shot :yesnod: :drool5:

I thought that same thing. I even said to my son that the Avalanch was made for off-road. But I also noticed they never used the 4 wheel drive on it. When they took off on the start, only the rear wheels spun.

Like Cody, I like the Corvette guys the most now. But I also like team Shelby.

Definitely the bus and the Dart were at a BIG disadvantage compared to the Avalanche, the bus was pushing dirt coming off the dirt mounds. The Dart lost it when they could not make the turn and wasted a lot of time trying to get it in reverse. Trany problems from the roll over?

I don't get all the off road challenges either.

The Corvette guys are a riot.

That's what I thought but Tony said it was the shifter that caused the problem. The kind of shifter it was (remember, they used to drag race it before the show), it had a problem shifting into reverse unless you used two hands.

I was hoping Team Avalanche was gonna get booted. They seem like decent guys but they've been dicks lately.

I would of done good in that challenge myself. Driving in watery mud isn't all that much different then driving in the wet heavy snow we get here. Gotta get out of the gas just before you enter the corner, and get on it again at about the half way point in the turn, and drift out of it.

I was suprized as to how close the times in the challenge were. But not suprized at the out come.

The looser was definatley at a disadvantage with a woman in the passenger seat.

Go that way, go that way.

It was over for him before it began.

I'm over on the Bullrun forum and Team Solstice said when they got in the car, it had a flat tire. They mentioned it to the show staff but they wouldn't change it and made them run it as is.

Having flat tires would probably give it more traction in the mud.

The reason they lost is they let one of the cop cars get in from of them and spray the car with mud and they could not see where they were going.

I wonder why they did not use the Windshield wipers or roll the window down.

I would have loved to see team lexus in that challenge.

What's with that anyway????????????????:shruggy:

They haven't been in a challenge yet. They'll end up winning because of that crap. I for one can't stand that girls. I would of been tossing them in every challenge I could. :yesnod:

I think Team Shelby wins because their car is pretty much the only car in the new Black Magic commercial.

69bronzeT5

I saw Lexus going home from a long ways away. I think they got tired of doing it and gave up. If you're in last, you do everything you can to catch up...not go slower and screw around.

That Alabama boy reminds me of Mike as far as driving skills.  He does a good job wheelin' that truck*.

If the Avalanche boyz end up going home, who's the new villan?

*Even if he needs to sit on a pillow to see over the steering wheel.  ;)

69bronzeT5

Well....see-ya VW. They did a damn good job driving that thing. Shelby's supercharger sure did sound good in the challenge. Avalanche, Shelby & Corvette...this should be interesting. :yesnod:
