Anyone know the story behind this 71 roadrunner/superbird?  My firend thought he found me a bird car in someones back yard but I was a little disappointed when I got the pictures.  The is in the Salt Lake city area.

Looks like somebody's aborted back yard project. Probably not a '71 either- has a 73/4 hood and rear bumper on it.

Good one.

LOL. I'd still buy it if the price was right though. Nice conversation piece.
I'd rather die than go to heaven.

LOL. That was for sale a few years ago here in the area on KSL.com. He wanted something like $25k or some astronomical price. HAHA. Its a 73 by the way and if I recall, it was only a 318 in it.

I would like to see a pic of a 69 Roadrunner with a Superbird wing. I have a pic of a 68 GTX, but none of a 69. I have an extra superbird wing and a real nice driver 69 runner to put it on. Then I can park it between the 69 tona clone and the 70 bird clone and have three wingcars.
Here'a pic of my runner. My wife thinks that it needs a wing because it's now the only b-body that we have that will be wingless.

Even the truck has a wing.  :icon_smile_big:

Why would you put a wing on that car?  Damn that thing looks great just how it sits. I would definitely vote a big old NO on putting the wing on. I can't believe you are thinking about it.    But hey, your car, your wing.   :Twocents: :Twocents: :Twocents: :Twocents:

That's what happens when you're bitten by the wingcar bug.
You start to look at all cars and wonder what they would look like with a wing on them.
At least I'm not trying to put it on any of my Cudas.
