High Idle?

I've noticed my Charger has times when it wants to idle high (1,500 to 2,000 rpms).  Only time it stops is when I shut it off and start it back up.  Started about 2 weeks ago, but doesn't do it everyday.  Its a 318 2bbl all stock except exhaust.  I've changed the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and still does it.  Any ideas?

What you changed wouldn't fix your problem.You either have a vacuum leak or linkage problem.

I found out I did have a leak.  Should be all fixed now, thanx.
