I play varsity football in the little town of Sneads Florida, and was wanting to know if anybody could help me out.
Would anybody on this board know anything about how to kick soccer style? Sneads has never had good kickers because they are all toe pokers. I recently got the contact down, but I am not getting any hieght on the kick, so what do yall think?

I was a kicker on my high school football team (along with offense, defense, receiving team, etc.) and I was more of a toe kicker myself but it was actually a bit of a combination. The main thing IMO is as you approach the ball you want to focus on the spot on the ball where you want your toe to hit. Also you have to line up to the left of the placement, if you're a righty, plant your left foot at an angle and kick at an angle so your leg swings outward as you make contact (which you probably know). Where your foot hits the ball (between the center and bottom) determines the height you'll achieve so a little trial and error is in order. Pay attention to the spot on the ball you are focusing on as you kick and when the height and distance is right use that same spot again. As always, keep your eye on the ball.
