what you guys think thanks francis

Ghoste

I don't think I would use the synthetic to break in my old big block but these newer engines are already being broken in with synthetic from the factory.  I can give any factual evidence of why one is better or worse than the other for either engine though.

I purchase my crate engine from bouchilion performance in south Carolina an is information recommended to use synthetic oil but i know that you can not do that with an old mopar engine tomorrow i will contact the dealer thank you for your info Francis.

i believe most new engines use synthetic oil even for break in...    :shruggy:
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

Well I know for sure the 6.1L comes from the factory with Mobile 1 Synthetic......if its a crate motor then more than likely the engine has been broken in already....
