I was getting ready to pull the trigger on the big wiring harness purchase from Year One since I can get 25% off now but I have a question about clips and fasteners for a '68. Basically I don't know which ones I'm supposed to get because I don't know what's stock and my car has gone a long time without them.

Here's the Year One Mopar section link to all the wiring harness clips they list. https://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/headline.asp?hid=112AB4854

Here's a pic of one of the clips:

Curtis, that clip mounts on the master cylinder firewall plate and is there to keep the forward light harness away from the master cylinder. I have one on my car.

There are plastic clips on both inner fenders as well.

So for a '68 is it the 3 1/2" strap, the 5" strap, the round body clip or all of the above? Oh well, $14 is a drop in the bucket so I might as well get them all.

It's been a while since I looked but I seem to think Bill Allphin's site (A+M High Tech Automotive) has some photos of the items you need and his prices were reasonable as well.

AFAIK the 3 1/2 is for manual brake cars & the 5 1/2 for power brakes

Looks like they have the strap kit (below) but not the clips I have pictured above.

I am not sure if anyone is making those or not.  I recall not being able to locate a new one and ended up with one from a salvage yard, but that was a couple of years ago.
