I know the owner of the local dealership around here and he gave me a great deal on it and i test drove it for like 45 mins taking it on freeways and backroads and no problems and no rust so i grabbed it for $5100

The 360's can have the plenum gasket (bottom of intake) start to leak on them and they will consume oil. Your mileage is about right for it to start happening. May putt around town with no troubles and then you go pull with it on the highway and you start going thru oil.   Always check the oil in it as it can happen at anytime.  With the air cleaner off you can look down the barrells and if you see oil dampness its starting to leak.

And if it starts to struggle while pulling shut the OD off.
