What color should everything underneath be? Frame, underside of pans, etc.. Seems like the 3 logical choices would be black, grey (like that of the gas tank), or the same color as the car. How did it come originally and what have you guys done with yours? :popcrn:

They were Sealed (Dip) and then painted body color, Allthough the paint wasnt done pretty....It just kinda got where it got....Then some were undercoated ,some were not.

Floorpans were left primer. Color can vary from a light grey with hint of blue green in it . exception ius LA plant cars were black .

They were never body color, just a light dusting of color from overspray

I went with Body Color but added a flex agent to the paint just for the underside of the car.  It is the same flex agent used on the plastic parts of modern cars today.  The flex agent allows the paint to withstand road debris such as stones much better, ie. no chipping, but doesn't change the look of the color.

body color = cool

flat black = practical
