That KW007 looks like it's front bumper is going to bottom out sooner or later.  Especially on todays rough roads.

Believe it or not, it has a front air ride system on it! Lifts the front end up about 3 1/2 inches. BTW, that bad ass KW is from the land down under......I believe its right hand drive also!

Too bad it has a nickname of "Ken Worthless"  :smilielol:

KW's are good trucks. I ran a Longnose with a 3406 and 13 speed for awhile over the Coq between Kelowna and Vancouver. That truck had 2.5 million KM's (about 1.5 million miles) on it and it ran and drove like a new truck. I prefer a Peterbilt but I think the KW is a better truck. If you get out of a KW or Pete and into a Freightliner or Sterling, you feel like you're driving an old 70's rattletrap jap car.

That's why Freightliner adopted the nick name "Freightshaker" Although, the '93 - FLD120 I used to own rode better then the Ramcharger's I owned at that time.

And as far a Sterling's, That is why after this year they will be no more.

I have always preferred the Petes. My favorite would be the old 359s. Love that oldschool corvette dash. But now I am spoiled by airide everything. Here is my home away from home. What do you get when you cross a Peterbilt,Kenworth and a frieghtliner?

I like the 359's and the 379's. But like you, I prefer the old style dashes they used in the 359's. I have the old style in the Pete quad I drive. Is that your truck, and do you have more pics? Looks cool! As far as crossing the 3 makes, ummm, I'm afraid to ask :scratchchin:

Nice large car.  :2thumbs:  I like the round headlight (nostalgic) look. That isn't a side dump is it?

I always said if I were to buy some rigs to pull dump trailers they would have been paid off in the first year here about 10 years or so ago.

I've heard that joke a lot time ago. I didn't remember it though til it got answered :P

That's one nice looking Pete :2thumbs:  :drool5:

Friday over lunch, I was offered to jump into another "Hanks Truck Pics" forum member's '96 Pete 379, to make some extra cash while I'm layed off, and while he recovers from a shoulder replacement surgery. I need to get past my surgury too this Wednesday, then I'm supposed to call him next weekend. He also gave me a business offer to think about for the summer. And I could flat out own my own Pete 379 by this fall. But, I have to play that one by ear though because both of my boys living with me durring that time. I wanna do it bad, but I right now, don't think I can work around my situation. :-\

Love the look of the flat top sleeper. Cool diamond shaped windows in the sleeper. I like to have an old flat top Pete but its a pain to register anything older than 1988 in Arizona due to strict engine emission laws.
