How about adding a 6-pack style scoop? Or another style that you like better?

vancamp

how much room do you need for it to clear?

How about lowering the K-frame? I know Ron (Firefighter) did a 1" drop, I think it a good idea to gain a little room under the hood.

:iagree: and maybe go with a lowered air filter.

If left with no choice but to cut it open, I would go for either the low scoop style like Landy ran on his car (similar to the 67 Super Stock scoop) or the 1970 Mopar Pro Stock style scoop.  Just personal preferences though.

My 70 had a six pack scoop when I got it! It looked real "race ready"!
