i know this is a preference thing but if you guys had your choice as far as possibly reselling down the road and the money spent for either car would be about the same: a 68 sport satellite 4-speed car that has had a lower quarter patch and two patches to the floor pans with no motor or tranny VS. a 71 road runner all complete all original sheetmetal and complete car...

You're kidding right?  Which one would we choose based on future resale value and the one that has it's original sheet metal and is complete and comes with a drivetrain is a commonly known and accepted musclecar versus one that has patches no drivetrain and wasn't really known or marketed as a musclecar?  The Road Runner should be your pick without hesitation.

thanks guys. pretty much my feeling too. i love the 71 body  style and you don't see as many of them around. i'm not looking to "flip" a car just one down the road if i ever had to sell and of course when it comes time for junior to go to college.... :yesnod: :yesnod:
