Anyone catch the 11/08 Muscle Car Review. Nice articles on the development of the charger etc.

Also has three feature articles on chargers which should belong to owners on here (68,69,70)

Yup, bought that mag yesterday.
I gotta wonder why they:
a. Showed concepts of the '66 version, and nothing of the other years.
b. Picked two second gen non-R/Ts, yet they both are done up as R/Ts, in varying degrees.
c. Picked that particular '69, with the wrong exhaust tips.

I just picked it up at RiteAid while getting some other crap.

I dunno why tho...  MCR is now $5.99 at the stand  :icon_smile_angry:  I was kinda WTF at the register.

perhaps someone should scan it...  :shruggy: and post it here...  :yesnod:

The new one isn't on the stands yet here so it looks like I'll have to wait.  I'll be interested to see what they say about the concept Chargers though because I recently read an article written by Greg Rager where he had some of his 1st gen Charger concept facts wrong.  I expect it from some other writers and mags but Greg is a pretty hardcore Mopar guy.

Don't have the mag yet, but I was told Bill (from the '70 site) has a feature in it. Gorgeous car.  :yesnod:

I also think they left out the Wingcars for some reason.  :shruggy:

Charger-Bodie

I also picked that one up yesterday. I havent sat down and read it yet though , so Im not able to critique it yet.

I figured one of you guys would be up on this spread because it quotes a/the charger registry in the article.

I noticed some weird things in the features. for example: they do an article on a 14K original survivor 383/4bbl car from Fla, but it has the R/T stripe on it.

But overall, just glad they focused on the Charger

Thanks! Funny they would use an incorrect '69 (wrong '70 sub lime color and stripe E. Tips etc.) to compare to a stock resto '68...  :slap:

the dash fasica wasn't smooth either, it was either lined top to bottom '68 or pebble grained '69...

looks like i'll paruse one at the local news stand to see if I need to have it.  :shruggy:

thanks again...

You're welcome!
And now you understand my picks at this article.
Looks like we'll have to formulate our own magazine to put the right information out there! :icon_smile_big:

Who was it that used to make the fake Charger magazine covers and post them up once in a while?

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
