Can you swap the tail shaft from a 904 to a 727?  I had my drive shaft shortened when I went from a 8 1/4 rear to a 8 3/4.  Now I am going from a 904 to a 727 and the tail shaft is longer on the 727.  Can a swap tails or do I need to send the shaft out again?

The spline is bigger on the 727, I need a new yoke as well :brickwall:  I was hoping to have this back on the road this week :'( Are B and E body yokes the same for 8 3/4?

Alan, all 727's use the same yoke.  :yesnod: The spline count differs between 904 & 727.

Thanks guys,  I have a couple yokes off Chargers in the garage.  So if I have a shorter drive shaft, I will be back in bussiness!@!!
