Well finished head swap. But had to bolt on my old stamped steel rockers. Two of the adjusters seized and I couldnt back them out. Anything I can do? I heated them up, tried the wax trick etc.

Guess I got to replace them?

Try some penetrating oil on the adjusters and let it sit overnight or for a couple of days. Get some anti sieze on all of them when you do start to run them.   :Twocents:

Thread_Marshal, what brand and type where your roller rockers ? and when did you notice that they were seized up ?

Their the crane gold ones. Someone told me since they are aluminum and the adjusters are steel I'll probley have to drill them out. I noticed shortly after I got them from a guy on ebay. The guy is being helpfull talking with crane to see what he can do.

Thanks, Thread_Marshal

I was looking at some stainless steel ones on ebay, I was looking for the strength of steel and not so much the weight reduction of aluminum, I don't know if the weight difference will make a difference in my engine.

I know you can buy individual rockers , that may be the best route

What does Crane have to say about it?? They were replacing gauled up adjusters for a while there.. Something about not getting properly hardened.. I didn't like hearing that!!  :icon_smile_dead:
