Who can remake the A/C hoses?

I've got all the proper A/C hoses for factory A/C on my 73 which I will have. I've got a new evaporator in, new condenser, new expansion valve, new drier, new pressure switch, new factory a/c harness from Year One all hooked up, and remanufactured RV-2 with an NOS EPR valve. I've got the three factory hoses. The low pressure hose with the capillary tube is being redone now. But they said they can't redo the one with the muffler made into it, or the metal high pressure line that the expansion valve screws into. Who can redo those hoses? Or where can I get the parts so I can get it done at my local hose shop? They said if the had the muffler w/bracket they could remake the hose. I don't know about the metal line. It's not a big concern now since it's turning into winter time, but hopefully the motor will be rebuilt and in before the end of the year and I want everything hooked up at once.

Find another shop. If you have the original factory hoses, a full-service A/C shop can weld new barbs on your old end fittings and crimp new hoses onto them.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I'm trying to figure out where I can get the filter/muffler that's made into the line. The guy at the shop said they call it a muffler. Does it filter anything or can it be flushed out and reused?

There is no filter, it's strictly a muffler to dampen the pulses from the compressor pistons.

How do you recommend refurbing the A/C muffler? I know you shouldn't bead blast it. Is it something that can be flushed out or dipped in whatever they clean the engine blocks with and then reinstall new rubber hose.
