are they available ? I haven't checked mine, but wish to know if they exist. I know they are available on single ballast setup, but I'm trying to keep stock look.

You talking about the regular 4 prong resistor for the 3rd gens? If so, there readily available.

Nacho-RT74

yeap... but 1/4 ohms ? I think they are 5 ohms on secondary and 1.5 on primary resistance

I don't think the regular coils will last long with a .25 ohm one- must be for the big type of Accel coils that put out 40-50k of volts!!!!!!

most coils will burn out without the proper resistor- not right away- but won't last long in warmer temps!!!!

thanks
Natcho- never heard of one that low!!!!

well, MSD blaster coils ( and of course MP ) state to use with 1/4 ohm Ballast, but I don't want to get rid off the double ballast stock look installing the single one.

I think I never measured mine, but PROBABLY already is .5 ohms instead 1.5 ? will be nice, but better if is posible to get .25

I had one of the two prong .25 ohm ones but ditched it because of the coil eating thing.  The ballast in there now is just going along for the ride since I put in the MSD.
