rear end for a roadrunner

hi all. i was wondering if anyone would know if a 1974 rear end 489. out of a roadrunner, would fit a 1968 roadrunner. id like to do this w/out any cunnting. just swap em.

The differential unit will fit without any problems but if you are talking about swapping the entire rearend assembly, I believe the housings are different widths. (the 74 unit is wider)

I agree
1971-'74= 63"
1968-'70= 60 1/8"

Not only is the rear end wider but the spring perch centers are wider too.
