I did it!!   I bought back my 71 Charger today.  My dad bought it from me a year ago and drove it to Alaska.   He drove to Montana and asked me if I wanted my car back.  He doesn't have room for it.   (You see,  Chargers don't like being garaged with F**Ds.)
SO AFTER SOME CONSIDERABLE THOUGHT........................................ :scratchchin:

YESSS!!!!!  Now  I'm driving my old car again. :boogie:

Anyway, enough of the ranting.   I thought you folks would want to know.

I'll put a picture on after I get the road dirt off.   He drove it 7000-8000 miles in the last year.    He averaged 70 miles per hour.  He got 21 miles to the gallon.  It starts real good still.  Just a few more miles on it....

Based off the 21 mpg, I'd say a mild 318?

And, we need the pics!
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

No,  he sold it to me for the same price I gave to him.  Same terms...  He said he enjoyed the car, but he already has 2 other cars.

My folks just drove from Soldotna, AK to Montana in the car.   It has alot of road dirt on it.  I'll get some pics here soon.

As far as specifications go,  it is a 318, 2bbl, w/ a 904.  (Did I tell you all that he was also carrying a bow workout machines in the trunk?)

Anyway,   I knew you all would understand about having your Charger in the garage again.
