What a difference!!!
And a cool car too. R4 (Charger red), with an R6 interior.

Yes it is a huge difference. In my opinion, wheels can make or break the car.

My buddy went from/to the same wheels on his '69 Charger as are on the Charger in the pics.  It is a huge difference, and the 15's look awesome.  I like it so much I'm going to get rid of the 14" Magnums and Cragers that were on my '70 when I bought it and put on the 15" Magnums.   :drive:

Pretty rare car right there....notice the V08 code?   Thats a color variance code because R4 exterior & R6 interior was not a "recommended" combination.
This is the third such car I have in the registry now....first Canadian built one.
They are all R4/R6....but the other 2 have vinyl tops (one black, one white)

PS---this is the first R/T I have registered this way

The build tag was inserted in this thread for your benefit!

I like 'em all one color w/ no vinyl top.  I wish red interior was an option for a '70 Charger.

That one's similar to this one I came across this summer.

I like it either way, but I have a preference to the beauty rings myself. I guess, 15's didn't have rings?

Wow, nice color! The only complaint that I would have is , those black plastic wiper blades have to go. I see that to many times on nice cars. There is no excuse to have them when you can go to any Parts America store and order the Trico Classic 15" wiper blades for around $9 ea. They look just like the oem ones except they don't have Trico stamped on them like the original ones did.

The chrome magnums didn't have beauty rings....just the road wheels. I am not sure if they had a 15" road wheel? Maybe someone repops them though?

The 15s just fill the wheel well so much better, after going to 15s on the 73, I switched back to 14s for about long enough to look at it and change them back, I was going to use the 15s on my challenger.  It made a huge difference, but I still have the 14s on the Challenger.

I went to the 15" Rallyes on my Dart Sport.  The 14's don't fill the quarters as well as 15's (15x7).

Hey Just69chgr--------------------what backspacing did you specify on your 15 inch magnum wheels from Specialty Wheels?  I assume you have discs on the front and a stock 8-3/4 rear end.

OK.  I am kind of leaning toward the 15 inch magnums.  They really do look good on the Charger.

I went the other way. I put my original 14X5 1/2 road wheels back on. I had 15x7 with radial redlines on. I like the look of the trim rim road wheels better then chrome magnums.
