1968 coronet super bee convertible show car

I am trying to find information about the 1968 Coronet Super Bee convertible show car that toured the country in 1968. I know it was yellow with a blackout hood, it was made by the Alexander Brothers shop in Detroit, and that it had side exhaust pipes. Can anyone provide more information than that? I am thinking about building a re-creation of that car, but right now I am in the dark about the details of the car and what ever happemed to it. Can somebody help???

As there was no 440 model convertible on which to base a Super Bee convertible, it's believed this car was a Coronet 500 model outfitted with Super Bee trim.

What have you got already - a 1968 Coronet convertible perhaps? Why not ask Mike Alexander what happened to it?

Don't have anything right now. I guess i would have to buy a 1968 Coronet convertible if I decide to go forward with this crazy idea. I would love to talk to Mike Alexander. Do you know how i can get in touch with him?
